Clandestinely filmed pornographic DVDs are hitting markets and interne sites of Iran consequent upon which, Esmail Ahmadi Miqadam, the chief of Iranian police has blamed the shop owners by saying that they are intentionally fixing the spy cameras in the places where women undress, like fitting rooms, gyms and swimming pools.Zahra Amir Ebhrahimi, a famous television actress has come under the envelope of suspicion after a private film supposedly showed her having sex was circulated.
In a way, this is old news, as even a few years back BoingBoing cited a report by an Iranian blogger indicating that the most popular websites accessed in Iran are soft-core porn sites:
